Maharajganj. Kolhui police of the district on Wednesday arrested three members of the international hashish smuggling gang from Kolhui intersection with 88.50 kg of hashish. Of the three arrested accused, one is from Shahjahanpur and two are from Gorakhpur district.
He was going to take charas from Nautanwa town adjacent to the border and deliver it to Shamli district. The police presented the three accused in the court. From where he has been sent to jail in judicial custody.

The police were engaged in investigation by barricading at other places including Kolhui intersection. After midnight, around 3 in the morning, two cars were seen coming back and forth from Nautanwa side, when the police team signaled them to stop, the drivers increased their speed, but the police team stopped both the cars by barricading them. Stopped it.
During the search of both the cars, 32 kg 500 grams of hashish was recovered from Arjun Singh, resident of Surajkund, Tiwaripur police station, Gorakhpur.
In the other car, 58 kg of hashish was recovered from Sonu Gupta, resident of Hasanganj Geeta Press, Rajghat, Gorakhpur and Chandeshwar Singh, resident of Madnapur police station, Shahjahanpur. A total of 88 kg 500 grams of hashish was recovered from both the vehicles.
Kolhui police team has recovered a total of 88.50 kg of hashish from the three accused. Of the three accused, one is from Shahjahanpur and two are from Gorakhpur. Advance action is being taken by issuing challan to the accused. Soon other accused involved in this will also be arrested.

20 thousand rupees for delivering the car

Of the two vehicles recovered in hashish smuggling, one is in the name of Vishal Sagar, a resident of Modinagar Ghaziabad. The second car is registered in the name of Shivam Singh, resident of Kamta Chinhat, Pitambara Bihar Phase 2, Lucknow.
