Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Tejas’ has had a very disappointing opening at the box office. Looking at the two-day collection of this film, made with a budget of Rs 45 crore, it is being speculated that it will hardly be able to recover its cost. ‘Tejas’ was released in theaters on 27 October and the film has not been able to earn even Rs 3 crore in two days.
‘Tejas’ opened much less than expected at the box office. On the first day of its release i.e. on Friday, the film had collected Rs 1.25 crore. Now the figures for the second day have come out. According to the report of Sacknilk, the film has done a business of only Rs 1.25 crore on the second day. With this the total collection of the film has become Rs 2.50 crore.
What is the story of ‘Tejas’?
Kangana Ranaut starrer film ‘Tejas’ is made under the direction of Sarvesh Mewada. The film tells the story of a pilot Tejas who is sent along with his co-pilot Afia (Anshula Chauhan) for a rescue operation by an Indian intelligence agent. During the rescue operation, ‘Tejas’ and Afia learn that terrorists are going to bomb the Ram Temple to cause riots between the Hindu-Muslim community.

Let us tell you that Kangana had a lot of expectations from ‘Tejas’ which seem to have been dashed. Before this, Kangana’s two films ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Chandramukhi 2’ also failed at the box office. Now ‘Tejas’ also seems to be a flop. Talking about Kangana’s work front, she currently has ‘Emergency’ in the pipeline in which the actress will be seen in the role of the country’s former PM Indira Gandhi. Earlier the film was scheduled to release on 24 November 2023 but now it has been postponed and now it will be released in 2024.
