Hearing was held in Allahabad High Court on Monday on the petition filed demanding CBI investigation into the suspicious death of Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey. The High Court has sought answers from CBI and UP government. Three weeks time has been given to file the reply. Akanksha Dubey’s family members have been given two weeks’ time to file their affidavit on the reply of CBI and UP government. The hearing of this case will now take place in the High Court after 5 weeks.
It is noteworthy that the petition has been filed on behalf of actress Akanksha’s mother Madhu Dubey. In this, the possibility of rape before murder has been raised. Akanksha was found dead in a hotel in Varanasi under suspicious circumstances. It has been said in the petition that the circumstances under which Akanksha died are definitely suspicious.
FIR was lodged against Samar Singh and Sanjay Singh
Akanksha’s post mortem report and FSL Varanasi report are also pointing towards this. In the petition, the working style of the police has been described as unreliable. It has been said in the petition that efforts are being made to suppress some important evidence and also to protect the accused.
Akanksha’s mother Madhu Dubey lodged FIR
Through the petition, a demand has been made for a CBI inquiry into the death of actress Akanksha Dubey. After Akanksha’s suspicious death, an FIR was lodged by her mother Madhu Dubey, in which named FIR was lodged against Bhojpuri singers Samar Singh and Sanjay Singh. The police have filed a charge sheet against both the accused under sections including abetment of suicide.
Akanksha Dubey’s body was found in the hotel on March 26.
