A massive fire broke out in Maruti Yard Hub in Jhunsi area of Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. Due to the fire, 16 cars parked in the yard were burnt to ashes. Many other vehicles have also suffered minor damage. According to the information, the cars caught fire after a high tension electric wire broke and fell. There was panic in the entire area after seeing the huge flames rising in Maruti Yard Hub.
On receiving information about the fire, CFO reached the spot with fire tender. The fire was brought under control after one and a half hour of hard work with the fire tender. There was a fire in the Jhunsi warehouse of Bright Four Wheeler Sales Prayagraj Private Limited. According to the information, the fire broke out today at around 09:45 am. Due to the fire, the car kept behind Urmila Women’s College was burnt to ashes.
16 cars burnt to ashes
It is being told that 16 cars have been completely affected due to the massive fire. All other vehicles parked in the yard have been saved safely. It was fortunate that there was no loss of life in the fire. Officers and employees of the local Jhunsi police station were present when the fire broke out. Vehicles were also called from fire stations Phulpur, Handia and Naini.
Accident due to breaking of high voltage wire
According to the information, the 11 thousand volt power line wire broke and fell on the vehicles. Due to which the vehicles parked there caught fire. Gradually the fire took a huge form and 16 cars parked at Maruti Yard Hub were burnt to ashes. At present the yard employees have accused the electricity department of negligence.
