The body of a woman has been recovered from the forest in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. It is being told that the woman was missing from the house for three days. After this, the relatives went to the police station and lodged a missing report. Police recovered the body and sent it to the hospital for postmortem. The police suspect that the woman might have been murdered. The police have started investigating the matter by registering an FIR.
The case is related to Naurangabad police station area of Etawah. Here on September 4, a 65-year-old retired teacher Arifa Khatoon went missing from home. After this, the relatives searched for him at many places. But when she was not found, concerned relatives went to the police station and lodged a missing report. The police registered an FIR and started investigating the case. Meanwhile, late evening on September 6, an unknown person informed the police about the dead body of a woman lying in a ditch 30 feet below near the dargah.
The woman retired in the year 2019
After this, the police and forensic team reached the spot and recovered the dead body of a woman from the dense forest near Bholan Sayyed’s dargah. Then the woman was identified and her family members were informed. The woman was identified as Arifa Khatoon. The woman had retired from the post of primary teacher in the year 2019 and she lived alone in the house. He was divorced and had no children. After this, the police sent the dead body to the hospital for postmortem.
Prima facie it is a case of murder- Police
In this case, SP Kapil Dev Singh told that prima facie it seems to be a case of murder. The accused might have fled after the murder by throwing the dead body. Police has collected many evidences in this case and is investigating the matter. The police have detained four people on the basis of suspicion and are interrogating them.
