In Banda, Uttar Pradesh, a young father became a monster for his own daughter due to a minor mistake. He first dragged the daughter by her hair and then took a vegetable cutting knife and attacked the daughter a total of 15 times, one after the other. The daughter, who was badly injured in this incident, became unconscious after bleeding. Upon getting the information, the landlord of the accused informed the police. After this, the police reached the spot, broke the door and admitted the daughter to the hospital, while taking the accused into custody and started interrogation.
The accused told during police interrogation that his wife had already died. Only his daughter cooks food at home. By mistake he had added salt to the vegetable twice. When he sat down to eat, he could not eat because of too much salt and in this anger he dragged his daughter by her hair. During this time, when the daughter tried to clarify, the anger of the accused flared up further. He immediately picked up the knife kept in the kitchen and started attacking his daughter.
During this time, the landlady reached there after screaming, but the door of the room was closed. In such a situation, the landlady herself informed the police about the matter. After this, the police reached the spot and broke the door, took out the injured girl and took her to the hospital in their vehicle. The police have also arrested the accused from the spot. According to the police, the girl was stabbed 15 times in the chest and waist. All the wounds are quite deep.
According to doctors, his condition is critical. Still, efforts are being made to save his life. On the other hand, the police said that the accused is also mentally ill. Especially after the death of his wife, his condition has worsened. The landlady has also given information about her mental illness in her statement. But it has also been said that before this he has not done any such act.
Said that the accused was always under the influence of alcohol. Two sons and this daughter also live with him in the house. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ambuja Trivedi told that the matter is related to Sarvodaya Nagar Colony of Kotwali Nagar. The police is investigating the matter. On the other hand, Banda’s District Magistrate Durgashakti Nagpal has written a letter to the government to provide financial assistance to the victim’s family and that girl after this incident.
