A unique case of another child developing in the stomach of a 7-month-old child has come to light in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Seeing the continuous bloating of the child, the doctors first did a CT scan. From this the doctors came to know that there is a fetus in the child’s stomach. After which the doctors of Sarojini Naidu Children’s Hospital of Motilal Nehru Government Medical College have performed an operation and removed the fetus from the stomach of the 7-month-old child. After the embryo is removed, the child is completely healthy. Giving information, Dr. D. Kumar told that the child’s operation lasted for about 4 hours. This operation is very critical. At present, the child is now under the supervision of doctors.
Please tell that the wife of Praveen Kumar Shukla, a resident of Pratapgarh Kunda, gave birth to a son 7 months ago. The mother had died just after giving birth. At that time the child was having a lot of stomach problems. For which he showed in all the hospitals. But someone told urine problem and someone told something. But the child’s stomach continued to swell. In 7 months, the weight of the child became close to 8 kg.
This is how the doctors came to know
After this, Praveen Shukla used to be very worried about the bloated stomach of the child. In one day, Praveen went to SGPGI, Lucknow and also showed him in the hospital. Due to lack of money, proper treatment could not be done. After that Praveen took the support of the Children’s Hospital of Prayagraj. Where the doctors found out by scanning the city, then another fetus came out in the child’s stomach. Which was a semi developed match.
Baby’s weight in 7 months is 8 kg
When the doctors took out the dead fetus by operation, hands, legs and hair were developing in it. The weight of that dead fetus was around 2 kg. The total weight of the first child was 8 kg. After the operation, now the weight of the child has become 6 kg. If doctors are to be believed, such a case has also come to the fore many years back. If we talk about India, only 200 such cases would have come to the fore till now.
Had everything gone right, there would have been twins
According to Dr. Arun Gupta, when this child was developing in the mother’s womb, the second fetus was not developing at that time. Due to the failure of both the embryos to develop together, the mother definitely gave birth to that child. But the second embryo in that child’s stomach was not fully prepared. Due to which such a problem came to the fore. If everything was fine and both the embryos developed together, the woman would have given birth to twins.
