Baberu (Banda). The havoc of speed has been seen in Banda of UP. After electrocuting the teenager, eight people were taking him to the CHC in a Bolero, when a speeding Bolero rammed into a truck parked on the track of the road at around 9 pm near Paraiya Dai place on the Baberu-Kamasin road. Six people including a woman died in this accident. Two have been sent to the district hospital in critical condition. Late night DM Durga Shakti Nagpal and SP Abhinandan also reached the spot.
People were going to CHC from Bolero
Eight people, including mother and uncle, were going from Bolero to CHC after Kallu, 15-year-old son of Guchhi, a resident of Tilousa village, got electrocuted. As soon as the Bolero reached near Paraiya Dai Dev place, about two kilometers ahead of Baberu town, it rammed into a truck parked on the roadside at high speed from behind. The Bolero was badly damaged in the forceful collision. At the time of the accident, the speed of Bolero is estimated to be more than 100, due to which the vehicle was blown away. When the passers-by saw the gruesome accident, their souls trembled. He immediately informed the police and along with the villagers tried to help, but the vehicle was badly damaged, so no one could help.
Bolero cut bodies were removed from the cutter
Kotwali in-charge Pankaj Singh reached with the team and pulled out the trapped people, in which three had died on the spot. Others were taken out of the Bolero cut from the cutter and taken to the Community Health Center, where doctors declared three others brought dead. The deceased were identified as Kallu, his mother Shayra Bano, Kaif, Mujahid, Shakir, while efforts were being made to identify one late at night.

Kotwali in-charge Pankaj Singh told that till now six people including the woman have died. Zahid and Jahil have been referred to the district hospital in critical condition. Villagers who arrived from Tilousa told that Asim, son of Akbar, a resident of the village, was driving the vehicle. Apart from CO Rakesh Singh, administrative officers reached CHC. The bodies were so badly decomposed that efforts were being made to identify them till late in the night.
Due to non-availability of an ambulance, he was taken to the hospital in a police vehicle.
A crowd of townspeople and passers-by gathered at the spot. The police did not wait for the ambulance to arrive. The Kotwali in-charge himself has taken him to Baberu Hospital in his own vehicle.
