Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday unveiled the first ticket of the world’s fastest motor bike race ‘Moto GP India-2023’, which is going to be hosted by India for the first time. On this special occasion, the organizers of Moto GP presented a helmet to the Chief Minister on behalf of world famous Spanish rider Inia Bastianini. CM Yogi also sent a helmet with his autograph to rider Bastianini as a gift.

Chief Minister Yogi said that it is a matter of pride and joy that for the first time India will host ‘Moto GP’ in the state from September 22 to September 24, 2023 at Buddha International Circuit, Greater Noida. The successful conduct of Moto GP will firmly establish ‘Brand Uttar Pradesh’ at the global level.

The Chief Minister said that due to the non-cooperation and apathy of the previous governments, the ‘Formula One Race’ brought to Uttar Pradesh was stopped after organizing it only once. This is the reason why the organizer of this race, CEO Carmelo, when he met me last year, was skeptical about organizing this race in UP. I assured him of full cooperation and security of the government in connection with this event.
CM Yogi said that out of the member countries of MotoGP, 12 countries are members of G-20. It also includes America, Australia, France and Japan. India is chairing the G-20 and at the same time the G-20 heads of state will be present in New Delhi when this competition will be held.
CM praises the initiative of using 30 percent ethanol in bikes
The Chief Minister commended the initiative of using 30 percent ethanol in the bike used in the competition. Said that it is helpful in reducing the carbon footprint. UP is the largest ethanol producing state in the country. From this point of view also, organizing this big event is important. He said that by organizing this race, there is a possibility of an economic activity of about one thousand crore rupees in the state, along with this, employment opportunities will also be created for five thousand people. On this occasion, Minister of State for Sports Girish Chandra Yadav and Additional Chief Secretary of Sports Department Navneet Sehgal were also present.
