When the police came to know about this, the Kanpur GRP Inspector was given complete information about the case, after which the team of GRP, RPF and Crime Branch found the woman in Kanpur station itself and arrested her and brought her to the GRP police station.
During interrogation, the woman told that her husband used to keep a dirty eye on the daughter, due to which there used to be a dispute every day. There was a dispute with the husband even on the day of the murder, after which the woman pushed him and he hit the wall. Due to this the husband died. Then the woman escaped from there with her daughter.
GRP in-charge Ramkrishna Dwivedi told that last night Chandigarh police had informed about a woman being murdered and absconding. After which Chandigarh Crime Branch along with RPF and GRP arrested this woman at Kanpur Central station while going to Bihar by train. The woman will be handed over to the Chandigarh Crime Branch Police.
