Aligarh: In village Tarapur of Gonda police station area, the body of a missing youth was found buried in paddy straw kept in the field for two days. The youth had come out on bail seven days back. A case of domestic discord has also come to the fore behind the incident. However, the police are still investigating the murder.
Ravi Kumar, 24-year-old son of Jayaprakash, a resident of Tarapur, was missing since Wednesday. On Saturday morning around 11 am, the villagers who had gone to the forest started getting foul smell from the paddy straw. When the villagers removed the straw, they found Ravi’s dead body. On information, relatives and SO Umeshchandra Sharma reached the spot along with the police team.
Police has sent the dead body for postmortem after filling the panchnama. The SO said that a murder report has been registered against the unknown on the complaint of Ravi’s uncle Harishankar. There are injury marks on the dead body, how the death happened will be confirmed after the post mortem report comes. Police is probing every aspect of the incident.
Came out of jail on bail on December 9
It is said that Ravi had fallen in wrong company. On December 1, the police arrested him with an illegal pistol and sent him to jail. He came out on bail on December 9. He used to quarrel in the house over money and land. It is discussed that he had a fight with his relatives at home on Wednesday, since then he was missing.
It is also discussed that the relatives had killed him and hid the dead body. However, the circumstances of the death will be clear only after the police investigation.
