Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting on Sunday regarding the preparations of the police and administration in view of Diwali and Chhath Puja. From his official residence, he connected with the police and administration officials of the districts through video conferencing.

- Yogi bluntly said that the chaotic elements trying to spoil the atmosphere on the festival season should be dealt with strictly.
- Additional police force should already be deployed in sensitive areas. There should be no firecracker shops and godan among the population at any cost.
- All necessary fire prevention measures should be taken strictly so that in case of any accident, the fire can be brought under control immediately.
- The Chief Minister said that such arrangements should be made so that all citizens can celebrate the festival with gaiety and there is no shortage of civic amenities.
- There will be a lot of crowd in the markets on the occasion of festivals. In such a situation, people should be relieved from the problem of jam by making a better traffic plan in all the cities.
- There should be no complaint of unnecessary power cuts in urban and rural areas.
- CM gave strict instructions that adulteration in food items will not be accepted. In such a situation, an intensive state-wide campaign should be launched against adulteration and effective action should also be taken.
- Senior officers posted at police station, circle, district, range, zone and divisional level should communicate with the eminent people of the society in their respective areas. Issue positive messages and create an atmosphere of peace and harmony with the cooperation of the media.
Animal fair will not be held in Ballia due to lumpi
The Chief Minister said that a traditional cattle fair is also organized during the Dadri fair of Ballia. In view of the lumpy skin disease in bovine animals, this fair will not be organized this time. The farmers should be informed about this in advance.
