New Delhi. Tamil television actor and director Lokesh Rajendran has committed suicide. 34-year-old Lokesh Rajendran committed suicide on October 4, the information of which has now come to the fore. According to reports, the actor was battling depression for a long time. Not only this, 4 days ago, a notice of divorce had also come from his wife. Lokesh made his mark as a child artist in the TV show ‘Marmadesham’. Apart from this, he worked in many other shows. Apart from this, he has also worked in 15 films. People still like Lokesh’s character ‘Rasu’ in the 1996 show ‘Vidthu Karuppu’.
Rift with wife
The actor was married and has two children. According to reports, the actor’s father told that Lokesh’s wife had sent divorce papers four days ago, due to which he was in depression. He further said- I saw him on the last Friday. He said that he needed some money. I gave it to him too. Lokesh had told us that he would now start working as an editor.
Police is investigating
According to the police, the actor was taken to the Government Kilpauk Medical College and Hospital. Police have registered a case under Section 174 of CrPC and are investigating further. In this regard, the police have said, ‘Lokesh had started drinking alcohol daily due to family problems and he was often seen sleeping at the Chennai Mufassil Bus Terminus. On Tuesday also, some people at the bus terminus seeing him in a state of uneasiness, dialed 108 for an ambulance and also informed the police.
