Barabanki. Two girl students, who came out of the house to go to school, went missing under suspicious circumstances on the way. Both the girls are cousin sisters. The dress that both the girls wore was found lying on the side of a field on the way. The bicycles of both have also been recovered. SP Anurag Vats took stock of the spot and formed four teams to search for the girl students.
Cousins of a village under Zaidpur police station are students of class eight and nine. On Monday morning, both of them left their respective cycles to go to school from home at around eight o’clock. After that she did not return home. The dress and cycle of both of them were found in the water filled in the pit near a field on the side of the road, about two km from the house. Seeing the bicycle and the dress, the passers-by informed the police and family members.
Zaidpur police including SP Anurag Vats, ASP Dr. Akhilesh Narayan Singh and CO Sumit Tripathi reached the spot. The spot was inspected. During this, the dress and cycle of both the sisters were found, but their bags were not found. The brother was sent forward: Along with both the girl students, his brother also came out on his bicycle. Both the sisters had sent him forward saying to fill the air in the cycle.
Police also reached the school: After taking stock of the incident site and talking to the family members, the police reached the school of the girl students and investigated. SP Anurag Vats said that local police including crime branch’s SWAT, surveillance and CO Sadar and CO Crime have been deployed. Soon the girl students will be found.
