Hathras. On Thursday, a woman strangled her brother-in-law to death in Navipur area of Kotwali Sadar area of Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. He hid his body in the house itself. When the woman reached Kotwali late in the night and informed the police about the incident, there was panic. Police have recovered the body from the woman’s house. He is under interrogation.

Sushila’s husband Pawan Kumar, 35, resident of Navipur, is a salesman in a private company, and is working in Chhattisgarh. Sushila’s maternal uncle is in Naharoi of Hathras. The in-laws are in jabber. The woman’s father has a house in Navipur, Hathras. She lives in the same house with three children. Her eldest daughter is studying in 11th standard, second daughter in 8th standard and son in 10th standard. The woman’s maternal brother-in-law, 30-year-old Bhupendra resident village Sikanderpur police station Mant Mathura had come to her house on Thursday. The two had a dispute over something and Sushila strangled her to death with a dupatta.
Woman hid brother-in-law’s body in the house
After the murder, his body was hidden in the house itself. She hid the dead body till the night. Late night the woman reached Hathras Sadar Kotwali. There the police was informed about the whole incident. The woman has only told the police that her brother-in-law often harassed her. Because of which he has committed murder. On receiving this information, there was panic among the policemen.
Interrogation of woman continues
SHO Lokesh Kumar Bhati accompanied by the police team went to the woman’s house and recovered Bhupendra’s body from the room. CO Surendra Singh and forensic team went to the spot and investigated. SHO Lokesh Bhati said that the woman is being questioned.
