Sadan Lal Kushwaha, who lives in Rahmpur village, had married daughter Rita to Sarman of the village of Bilhaur and has a ten-year-old son Lucky. For about three months, Rita has been living in her maternal house with her son and has also got the son’s admission done in the school near the village.
On Monday morning, Rita went to the farm. After the daughter’s departure, Sadanlal asked the grandson Lucky to go to school. On this, Lucky went away saying that he would take the slippers lying near the farm. When he did not return when it was time for school holidays, Sadanlal got worried. He started the search with the villagers.
Meanwhile, when Lucky returned home before dusk, Nana was relieved. Lucky tells Nana about his kidnapping. He told that Baba had met him near the Rehampur railway crossing, who asked him the way to the village. After this Baba smelled a handkerchief and he fainted. When his eyes opened, he was lying on a brick kiln with his hands and feet tied. Somehow he managed to free himself and ran away. When he came on the road and informed the bike rider about the incident, he brought it outside the village and left it.
Hearing his words, panic spread among the villagers and the police was informed. Patara outpost in-charge Vineet Mishra arrived and questioned the child. Seeing the police, he confessed the whole truth. The outpost in-charge told that the child had told a fake story for fear of not going to school. The child had not done homework and did not want to go to school to avoid the teacher’s scolding. So he told the story of the kidnapping.
