Ghazipur. Attachment proceedings are being taken against BSP MP from Ghosi parliamentary constituency in Mau district and Birpur resident Atul Rai in his native village Virpur in the gangster case. The officers along with the police force started arriving in the police station premises from nine o’clock in the morning for the attachment proceedings. At 12 noon, a total land worth Rs 2 crore was attached by the district administration. During this, there was also a lot of presence of rural people.
In Ghazipur’s Bhanwarkol police station premises, CO City Gaurav Kumar held a meeting with SHO Satyendra Kumar Rai and prepared a strategy for the attachment of MP Atul Rai to the gangster. In Ghazipur, a decision had already been taken by the district administration in the case of gangster against BSP MP from Ghosi parliamentary constituency and Birpur resident Atul Rai. After receiving instructions from the Varanasi Commissioner, the district administration had started the process of action. In this regard, Sunday was fixed for proceedings.
In this case, now on Sunday, the police officers started reaching Bhanwarkol police station in the morning for the attachment proceedings in his native village Virpur in Ghazipur district. After ensuring the presence of the force in the police station, the police force left for Veerpur village attachment proceedings. The process of attaching the property is being completed in the presence of security forces in the village.
Completed legal action: The team of revenue and police officers reached the spot, took possession of the land and put up a notice board. The orders for seizure of 14(1) of the Gangster Act have been issued by the Varanasi Police Commissionerate. After this report, the police and administration in Ghazipur have completed legal action.
Two crore land of MP Atul Rai attached: On the orders of Commissioner Varanasi, the police of Varanasi and Ghazipur have attached 1.418 hectares of land in Birpur, the native village of Mau Ghosi MP Atul Rai. According to the administration, this land is registered in seven different places. The market value of the land is stated to be two crores. This attachment has been made under the Gangster Act.
