Kanpur. More than 24 hours have passed since Rakesh Sachan’s case of Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Minister Rakesh Sachan’s escape from the court, but the police have not filed the report even after receiving the application.
Even after being a matter related to the court, the police has avoided saying that after conducting an investigation and taking action. Whereas the document which the MSME minister ran away with is a government and important document.
State government’s MSME minister, Rakesh Sachan, was found guilty on Saturday in the 31-year-old illegal arms case. The trial was also completed on the point of punishment. After this, before the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) III pronounced the sentence, with the help of his lawyers, he fled with the order of punishment.
After a day’s brainstorming, on the orders of the court late in the evening, court reader Kamini Rawat had filed a complaint against the minister at the Kotwali police station. Till night, the police officers and personnel were hesitant to give information about getting Tahrir and registering a case.
Late night, Joint Commissioner of Police Anand Prakash Tiwari reached the Kotwali police station and gave a statement in the matter and said that the matter is related to the court. Many points are still unclear in this. Further action will be taken after checking all the points. The government documents that the MSME minister ran away from the court are extremely important.
The police also saw the application of the court reader related to the important document like the application of the common citizens. It happens in many cases that the police first register a case and then investigate the matter, but the police did not get serious about the order of punishment. The police have postponed the case in the name of conducting an investigation.
The matter is court related and serious. The footage of CC cameras is very important evidence in the whole incident. The footage could not be checked due to non-opening of the court on Sunday. Evidence will be collected after taking permission from the court. – Ashok Kumar Singh, ACP Kotawali
