New Delhi. Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli’s form continues to be a cause of concern for the team. After the Test match in England, he failed to score runs in T20 as well. Captain Rohit Sharma talked about Virat’s form after the last T20 match. He answered the questions arising about his performance and made it clear what the team management thought.
Rohit said, “Look, what is the form, it keeps going down and down on anyone. The quality of the player is never bad. So when we talk we should keep this in mind, because when such comments are out there. Turns out, this should be taken care of. Player’s quality does not deteriorate, only that thing is supported. Player has quality and we support that player only after seeing the quality.”
He further said, “It happened to me and it happened to many old players, if it happened to everyone, then it doesn’t matter. He shouldn’t be overlooked in a year. It takes time for the people to understand him completely but the people of us who are inside and the people who are running the team know the importance of that player.”
“I would request outsiders only, yes it is okay that they have every right to talk. They can talk about it if they want, but all I will say is that for us all these things do not matter that much.”
