Agra. In the gangster case, jailed SP leader Aliganj, former Etah MLA Rameshwar Singh Yadav and his brother former district panchayat president Jugendra Singh Yadav’s assets worth more than 28 crore 81 lakh will be attached. The administration marked the property and pasted the attachment notice on Tuesday. During this, a car found at the residence in the city was confiscated. Both brothers have properties in Etah, Aliganj tehsil as well as Agra, Lucknow and Kanpur, which have been acquired from illegal earnings.
Etah District Magistrate Ankit Agrawal had ordered the attachment action on June 18. On Tuesday, the police team reached the residence of SP leader Jugendra Singh Yadav at Prem Nagar in the city and pasted 14 (1) notice to attach the property there. Notice has been served on the former MLA in jail. Both the brothers and their wives have movable and immovable assets worth Rs 28 crore 81 lakh 21 thousand 549. There are 81 cases against the former District Panchayat President and 78 against the former MLA. On June 10, the former MLA has been sent to jail.
Unnecessarily acquired property by forming a gang
SP MLA Rameshwar Yadav and his brother Jugendra Yadav are accused of having acquired illegal property by forming a gang. The former MLA acquired movable and immovable property in the name of himself and his wife Rammurti Yadav and former district panchayat president himself and his wife, district panchayat president Rekha Yadav. Property worth Rs 15 crore 45 lakh 97 thousand 735 was acquired in the name of Jugendra and his wife and Rs 13 crore 35 lakh 23 thousand 814 in the name of former MLA Rameshwar and his wife. The administration has given three months to the accused. Apart from Etah, the District Magistrate has been asked to take action by sending a notice to attach the property in Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra etc. Additional Superintendent of Police Dhananjay Kushwaha said that a notice has been pasted to attach the properties and a notice has been served to the former MLA in jail.
