Lucknow. On June 23, CM Yogi Adityanath is going to give a big gift to the large population living in rural areas of Uttar Pradesh. Under the Swamitva scheme, 1081062 villagers will be handed over a document (Rural Residential Records i.e. Gharuni Certificate) for the ownership of their houses through digital medium.
The villagers getting the benefit of the scheme will get a lot of relief from getting the home certificate. It will be easier for them to get loans from banks. Household documents will also be useful for them in getting other essential services. The State Government is doing the work of preparing Gharauniyas in all 75 districts very fast under the ownership scheme. For the preparation of records, 1,10313 villages have been identified.
CM Yogi Adityanath is also providing the benefits of ownership scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 24 April 2020 to the rural people of UP. Under the Swamitva scheme, till June 20, the work of drone survey has been completed in 68641 villages of the state. A total of 3428305 gharauniyas have been prepared in 23287 villages.

Once the ownership record is made, the disputes going on in the court will be settled soon.
