“A RAINBOW OF CULTURAL DIVERSITY SHINES ON THE BIMTECH SKYLINE”
BIMTECH celebrates 35th COMMENCEMENT DAY to welcome PGDM 2022-24 batch
“BIMTECH does not believe in resting, it keeps climbing and reaching newer heights”. These words of Dr Ajit Ranade spoken during the 35th Commencement Day speech of PGDM Batch of 2022-24 at BIMTECH, Gr Noida purely resonated with the aura of the campus as it welcomed its PGDM 2022-24 batch after a hiatus of two years of offline campus life. The campus witnessed vibrancy and youthfulness all around as the new bunch of excited students along with their parents embraced new beginnings. To introduce them to the virtues and ethos of Birla legacy, the day started with piety. The campus reverberated with chants during yajna followed by soulful renditions of Hanuman Chalisa by Pandit Sujeet Ojha. Approximately 430 students registered in four PGDM programs including PGDM-Core, PGDM-International Business, PGDM- Insurance Business Management and PGDM-Retail Management.

Bottom line is that economy is good however there are fiscal challenges but we have young demography.”

An accomplished business leader with extensive experience in economic policy and development, he believes that “though world economy is under uncertainty, but Indian economy is domestically driven. We have seen 101 unicorns in the country in 21-22. In 2022-2023- triple amount of recruitment is expected. And that is where the opportunity lies for our youth.”
In a very inspiring address the Guest of Honour Ms Bhavana Batra, Executive Director, Global People Programs Leader, S&P Global said that “In the world of work, there are possibilities and no one can say we have achieved everything, as we are rethinking what will it take to bring success. No matter how beautifully constructed a strategy maybe you need people who are bright and ready to work.” She further added “I believe Humans are not resources but Human capital is the biggest strength of organization.”
While sharing the importance of face to face education and personality development, Ms Batra said “Online education can teach your theories, but classroom education will teach you life skills and help identify your own role models. Don’t just think about yourself but also think how you can co tribute to the ecosystem and participate in multiple extra-curriculars. Get involved in inter college and inter university competitions. Debate. There is no better time to start giving back. It is about so much more than books.” She told the students to seek answers to questions like “If what you are doing was printed in newspaper and was read by the world and your parents, will you be okay with it?” This may put them in the right path from the word go she opined.

This is a time of significant change when no organization is sure of what is going to happen.
Covid has shaken how businesses happen. We have a diversified supply chain that is being disrupted. No single vendor is being depended upon.
In the world of work, there are possibilities and no one can say we have achieved everything as we are rethinking what will it take to make thing success and i suggest you to be buoyant and be open to opportunities. But these opportunities will not come as we expect them to.
No matter how beautifully constructed a strategy maybe you need people who are bright and ready to work.
I believe Humans are not resources but Human capital is the biggest strength of organization.
Expectations you should have
1. How do you constantly learn? Some have experience some dont. But how do you use the opportunities and add value to yourself and ultimately be productive to org
2. Relations will help you learn and give you comfort in difficult times. So leverage this opportunity to build stronger relationships. You can pick theory in online but here you pick up life skills. Faculty have spent years perfecting their craft and professional have experience
3. Problem solving, in industry, we look for problem solvers. We look for people who have the ability to leverage different aspects of learning and offer options to problems.
Have a tangible takeaway in everything you do.
It will differentiate you in the industry and have well hone sPS skills.
Don’t just think about yourself but also think how you can co tribute to the ecosystem and participate in multiple extra-curriculars. Get involved in inter college and inter university competitions. Debate. There is no better time to start giving back. It is about so much more than books.
Invention is 93% perspiration, 6% inspiration and 1% butterscotch ripple- inspiring quote
Cannot achieve anything without perspiration and get your hands dirty. Better to fail fast than keep thinking about it.
Mantra is fail fast, do fail, move on and do next.
6% inspiration- can be anything. I cook when I am stressed out. Look for your inspiration in ways that makes sense to you.
1% butterscotch ripple
Have fun the journey.
If what you are doing was printed in newspaper and was read by the world and your parents, will you be okay with it?
In last 3-6 months, what have you done for the first time?
Have you started your journey towards what you are passionate about?
