Sultanpur. An FIR has been lodged against former MLA Chandrabhadra Singh Sonu for threatening to kill him at Dhanpatganj police station. Three other people have also been named along with him. The police is investigating the matter Mayang resident Baijnath Nishad alleges that the water from the house of Pattidar Phoolchand Nishad flows towards his house.
With the arrival of vehicles, the water splash reaches their house. He asked Phoolchand several times to close the drain, but he did not listen. When I complained again, on June 16, Phoolchand reached Chandrabhadra Singh with Sonu, Roshan Singh, Pappu Singh. Sonu and his companions started threatening to keep the drain open. If the victim protested, he also threatened to get the house demolished by abusing him. Recently, his brother and block chief Yashbhadra Singh has been declared by the district administration as district badar. The same former MLA has termed the allegations against him as baseless. He said that he is being harassed by the police administration by some people sitting in the ruling party.
Cousins have also lodged FIR: On May 21, a report was lodged at Dhanpatganj police station by Suryabhadra Singh, Manibhadra Singh and Bhubhadra Singh, residents of Mayang, cousins of the former MLA. It was alleged that even after the division of the ancestral old population and house, their share of the land is being occupied. On protesting, the former MLA is beaten up and abused. SP Dr. Vipin Kumar Mishra said that on the basis of Tahrir, an FIR is being registered and investigation is being done.
