Kanpur. In the presence of President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 3, the state government has tightened the noose on those who created a ruckus after the Friday prayers. On Friday, after the Juma prayers in Kanpur were completed in a peaceful atmosphere, the Kanpur district administration swung into action against those who disturbed the atmosphere of the city.
In Kanpur, the police is continuously taking action against the miscreants. Now bulldozers have also started running on the illegal properties of the people associated with them. On Saturday, on the orders of KDA Vice-President Arvind Singh, the KDA staff with heavy force has started the process of demolition with a bulldozer on the illegal building of businessman Mohammad Ishtiaq based in Benazhaber. Along with a large number of police forces, KDA, administration officials and RAF personnel are also on the spot. Although it is being said that this building was built illegally and its demolition had already been ordered, but Mohammad Ishtiaq relative of Hayat Zafar Hashmi, the mastermind behind the violence of the past days, is being told.
It is also being said that Hayat Zafar Hashmi’s money has also been invested in the construction of this building. Apart from this, a big builder, who is getting the name of a big builder in the new road nuisance, has also spent money in its construction. However, questions are being raised about the way the administration has broken only the front part. At the same time, KDA has started tightening the screws on more buildings connected with it. A fortnight ago, six buildings of a big builder were also sealed, as well as a builder’s sealed building in Darshan Purva has also started investigation.
In Kanpur, the situation is getting better after the strictness of CM Yogi Adityanath regarding the nuisance after Juma prayers in the new road of Beconganj police station area of June 3. Meanwhile, the administration, waiting for the peaceful settlement of Juma prayers, swung into action against the miscreants on Saturday.
Residential turned commercial
KDA OSD Avnish Singh told that the map of Ishtiaq is recorded in the residential. But the whole building was made commercial. In addition to 130 square meters of land, about 10 square meters of illegal construction was done on the road. Didn’t even leave the setback. Therefore, on the instructions of KDA VC Arvind Singh, action is being taken to demolish the illegal part. According to KDA officials, the building was sealed in 2021. Demolition orders were also given, even after that construction has been continued. Half of the building has been demolished.
