Lucknow. The sessions court has rejected the bail application of accused Mukhtar Ansari in a case of construction of a house by occupying eviction property in Jiamau area through forged documents. Special Judge Gaurav Kumar of Prevention of Corruption Act has prima facie termed the offense of the accused as serious. Earlier, the bail application of the accused was rejected by the Special Magistrate Court of MP-MLA.
Use of muscle power to pass the map: Public prosecutor Ashok Tripathi strongly opposed the bail application. He said that the accused had serious allegations against him. He forcibly got the sale deed of a vacated land in Jiamau area, while the seller Ashfaq Ali etc. did not have any official document to sell this land. After this, illegal construction of house was done on the land through forged documents. Unnecessary pressure was created by using his muscle power to get the map of the land approved.
Criminal History of the accused: It has also been argued that the accused has a criminal history. There are many cases registered against this in different districts. A charge sheet is also filed against his sons Abbas Ansari and Umar Ansari in this case. Along with conspiracy, cheating and forgery etc., a charge sheet has been filed against all of them under Section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.
Loss of government property: On August 27, 2020, the FIR was lodged by Lekhpal Surjan Lal in the police station Hazratganj, according to which the accused had illegally committed illegal activities through fake documents and using their influence on an evacuated land in Jiamau area of the capital. Constructed the house. They got this construction done by passing the map under a conspiracy and grabbed the land while destroying the government property worth crores.
