Lucknow. After the end of the election code of conduct, now the state government has started making transfers. The Yogi government on Saturday transferred six IAS officers along with new district magistrates in Azamgarh, Sitapur and Hapur. Azamgarh District Magistrate Amrit Tripathi, a 2008 batch IAS officer, has been removed and put on the waiting list. Sitapur District Magistrate Vishal Bhardwaj (2013 batch) has been made the new District Magistrate of Azamgarh.
Hapur District Magistrate Anuj Singh (2013 batch) has been appointed as the new District Magistrate of Sitapur. Additional Commissioner Meerut Medha Rupam (2014 batch) has been made the new District Magistrate of Hapur. Ghaziabad CDO Asmita Lal (2015 batch) has been appointed as the Additional Chief Executive Officer of UPCDA. Bijnor Joint Magistrate Vikramaditya Singh Malik (2018 batch) has been transferred to the post of CDO Ghaziabad. Earlier on Friday, the government had posted new district magistrates in six districts.
Transfer of two more IPS: The process of transfers is going on in the police department. After the transfer of 14 IPS officers, including the SPs of nine districts, the government has now given new postings to two IPS officers of the 2018 batch. The transfer list of other officers may also be released soon.

The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh had transferred 14 IPS officers late on 14 April. It also had captains of several districts. At the same time, 12 IAS officers were transferred after that. In this, new District Magistrates of six districts including Meerut, Sambhal, Siddharthnagar, Kanpur Dehat, Deoria and Rae Bareli were posted. Let us inform that within the last 48 hours, the Yogi government has changed the District Magistrates of 9 districts including 18 IAS.
