Lucknow. Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh has started work on a strategy to increase the sweetness of sugarcane. CM Yogi Adityanath has said that the government is determined to make the sugarcane price payment to the farmers within 14 days. All necessary efforts are being made for this.
Yogi government has decided to modernize sugar mills as well as expand their capacity. The biggest focus of the government is on the arrears of sugarcane price. The government has set a target to ensure payment in 14 days. The Yogi government is going to pay the sugarcane price of eight thousand crore rupees in the next 100 days.
On presentation of 100 days action plan of seven departments of agriculture production sector before the Council of Ministers, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that a new record has been made in the last year by paying sugarcane price of Rs 1,69,153 crore. He directed that efforts should be made to make sugarcane price payment of Rs 8,000 crore within the next 100 days. It also said that the target should be Rs 12,000 crore in six months.
CM Yogi said that a super complex would be set up at Chhata, Mathura which would also include multi feed distilleries. Cooperative sugar mills of Bilaspur Rampur, Semikheda Bareilly and Puranpur Pilibhit should be modernized and Nanauta, Satha and Sultanpur sugar mills should be strengthened. Digital sugarcane survey for the crushing season 2022-23. Action should be taken to increase sugarcane productivity from 81.5 hectares to 84 tonnes per hectare in five years.
Yogi government has taken many decisions to increase sugarcane cultivation and production. Now Team Yogi will land on Ground Zero with the resolve of public welfare. For this, a framework has been prepared at the government level. Soon it will be implemented. In this regard, CM Yogi has given instructions to all the ministers. CM Yogi has instructed the officers to focus on generating maximum employment in the implementation of the schemes.
