Bulldozer was launched on Sunday at the Lucknow house of the then Inspector Jagat Narayan Singh, the main accused in the murder of Kanpur businessman Manish Gupta at Hotel Krishna Palace in Gorakhpur. Jagat Narayan is in jail along with five other policemen accused of murder. The accused had beaten to death an innocent businessman.
CBI has filed charge sheet in this murder case. Jagat Narayan had built an illegal house on Satrikh Road located in Chinhat in Lucknow. The Lucknow Development Authority (Lavipra) on Sunday ran a bulldozer on an illegal house and ransacked it. However, the house was not completely demolished by the LDA. The walls of the house were demolished from all sides.
The roof and pillars of the house are still safe. The suspended inspector had built the building for the purpose of letting it out on rent. Each room had a kitchen and a toilet. Before the action, after breaking the lock, it was seen in every room of the premises that there is no person inside. After this, action was taken under the leadership of Amit Rathore, the zonal officer/prescribed authority of Enforcement Zone-1, on the orders of LAVP Vice President Akshay Tripathi. During this, police and PACs of many police stations were also present.
Lavipra had registered the case number 385/2021 on October 18, 2021, on 12 October 2021 regarding unauthorized construction before taking action. There were a total of 10 rooms in the demolished house, the cost of which is being said to be around one crore rupees. Show cause notice was issued According to Lavipra, a show cause notice was issued against Prince, Jagat Narayan Singh and other plot number eight Devraji Vihar Saraishekh, Satrikh Road, Lucknow under section 27(1) of the Uttar Pradesh Town Planning and Development Act 1973. it was done.
Despite this, Jagat Narayan and none of his persons appeared in the court of the prescribed authority of Lavipra. After this, Lavipra pasted the notice on the building and asked her to appear by December 2, 2021 and present her side. No one appeared even after the notice was pasted. The final notice was sent on 18 January 2022 by LWIpra and ordered to appear on 1 February 2022. Once again no one was present.
The team found on the spot that without getting the map approved by Jagat Narayan Singh, the setback has been covered and constructed till the second floor. Under Engineer Subhash Sharma, Imtiaz Ahmed, Surendra Dwivedi etc. Employees along with zonal officer/prescribed authority Amit Rathore of Enforcement Zone-1 were present during this time. Initially, the accused had misled the higher officials, but after the post-mortem report came, the whole matter became clear. After this, an FIR was registered against the policemen on the complaint of Manish’s wife. The government handed over the investigation of the case to the CBI. At present, six policemen are lodged in jail on charges of murder.
