Gorakhpur. Inspector Harendra Pratap Singh, posted at Tiwaripur police station in Gorakhpur, was shot in a mysterious situation at his residence on Saturday morning. The policemen and the SHO, who arrived after hearing the sound of gunshots, took the constable lying on the ground covered in blood to the medical college where the doctor declared him dead.
SSP reached the medical college and got information about the matter
Harendra Pratap Singh, 30, a 2017 batch inspector, was a resident of Ayodhya district. For a year, he was posted as a second officer in the Tiwaripur police station. Harendra lived in the government residence located in the police station premises. At 6 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the policemen posted in the police station were going out to do duty in the procession of Lord Narsingh leaving the clock tower. Meanwhile, the sound of firing was heard in the direction of the government residence. When SHO Rajendra Pratap Singh arrived with the soldiers, Inspector Harendra Pratap Singh was lying in his house lying in a pool of blood on the furs. His government pistol was lying in the room itself.
Broken in Medical College: In an unconscious state, Harendra was taken to the Thanedar Medical College from the government jeep where the doctors declared him dead. As soon as the incident came to light, SSP Dr. Vipin Tada, along with SP City Sonam Kumar Force reached the Medical College and inquired about the incident from the SHO. Inspector-in-Charge Tiwaripur Rajendra Pratap Singh told that the investigation is going on how the policeman got shot.
Discussion of shooting in family dispute: The policemen posted in the police station were discussing that the policeman shot himself in a family dispute. For the past several days, Harendra was looking troubled.
There is a bullet in the right side of the temple: The bullet near the right temple of Harendra Pratap Singh has passed. Because of which Harendra is being said to have committed suicide. The room where the incident took place has been sealed. Forensic team is probing the matter.
