Gorakhpur. Words like wonderful, unimaginable, unbelievable were finding their existence. The saffron-clad Yogi was getting lost in the aura of Adityanath. All around it was echoing – same slogan, same name, saffron-clad Jai Shri Ram. People were not walking on the busiest road of Gorakhpur to go to their homes, but had stopped to welcome their beloved Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. His own yogi’s road-show. The crowd of workers gathered on the road was giving a big message about the election.
According to the pre-determined schedule, there was complete preparation for the road-show of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Townhall Tirahe at 4.30 pm on Monday. If you come around, only the yogis, who brought Ram, we will bring them, as if the songs were reverberating continuously. As soon as Yogi reached there after holding six public meetings from morning till evening, the enthusiasm of the workers reached the peak. When Gorakhpur Rural candidate Vipin Singh, MP Ravi Kisan, Alwar MP Balak Nath, city MLA Dr. Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal along with Yogi rode on the road-show chariot, a large crowd followed him. Wherever you look, saffron is saffron. Amidst the slogans of Jai Shri Ram, people were moving forward singing and dancing.
People standing on the roofs of houses and shops falling on the way were desperate to catch a glimpse of Yogi. Some were showering flowers and some were garlands. Yogi was respecting everyone’s sentiments. By returning the garlands of many as Prasad, Yogi was making them more excited. As the Yogi’s chariot was reaching a square or crossroads, the number of people involved in the mass gathering was increasing.
Various organizations had made grand arrangements to welcome the road-show by decorating the stage at many intersections. Yogi was not missing to express his immediate gratitude towards such people. The success of the road-show can be gauged from the fact that Yogi’s chariot took three and a half hours to reach Vijay Chowk via the designated route Ghosh Company, Reti Chowk, Nakhas Chowk, Bakshipur, Alinagar. The road-show which started at 4.30 pm ended at 8 pm with a vote of thanks to the Chief Minister. He said that on March 10, the matter of opposition would be cleared.
