Lucknow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have received bomb threats from a Twitter account named Deepak Sharma. This information caused a stir in the police department. This has been taken seriously by the police and administrative officers. Several teams of police including Crime Branch were immediately engaged in the investigation.
On Thursday, a tweet from a Twitter account operated by Deepak Sharma’s name contained a threat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Along with this, many other objectionable comments were made on him. UP 112 took cognizance of the matter and informed the higher authorities. The officers engaged the crime branch as well as several other teams in the investigation. Teams are probing the entire matter thoroughly.
DCP Crime PK Tiwari said that information about the said account has been sought from the Twitter company. Investigation is being done whether this account is of the same person in the name in which it is created or someone has created a fake ID. There are many teams. Action will be taken on the basis of whatever facts come to light.
In the past also, objectionable comments have been made on social media along with threats against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On which, along with registering a case, the police arrested many accused and sent them to jail. The police have also taken this matter seriously. Several teams of Crime Branch are investigating.
