Lucknow. The last Ardas of four farmers who died in the violence after the riots on October 3 in Lakhimpur Kheri is on Tuesday. For its preparation, Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait reached Tikunia late on Monday evening, while Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has also left from Lucknow on Tuesday morning. Farmer leaders have also warned that they will not allow politicians to share their platform. There, a heavy police force has gathered since Monday night in anticipation of a confrontation.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the national general secretary of the All India Congress Committee, will also attend the last prayers of the farmers at Lakhimpur Kheri. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, in-charge of Uttar Pradesh is very serious about this violence. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will participate in the last Ardas of the four martyred farmers. All India Congress Committee President Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will visit Tikuni of Lakhimpur Kheri on Tuesday to attend the last prayers of the four dead farmers. After landing at Lucknow airport from New Delhi, Priyanka Gandhi reached Lakhimpur Kheri via Sitapur by road. Some vehicles of the large convoy of vehicles with them were stopped in Sitapur itself.
Priyanka Gandhi’s convoy left for Tikuniya from LRP intersection in Lakhimpur. He is accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Kumar Lallu and MP Deepender Hooda in the vehicle. Along with them, National Secretary Dheeraj Gurjar, Dr. Ravi Shankar Trivedi from Lakhimpur, State Secretary Gurmeet Singh Bhullar, Siddharth Trivedi, Sanjay Goswami and Rampal Shakya are also going to Tikuni. Along with Lakhimpur Kheri, she also went to Bahraich and met the family members of the deceased farmers and held a Kisan Nyay rally in Varanasi on Sunday.
The last Ardas will be held in Tikunia for the four farmers who died in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence today. Along with the United Kisan Morcha, the Bharatiya Kisan Union has not allowed any politician to share the stage in this. The Bharatiya Kisan Union Tikait has issued this statement before the last Ardas to be held on Tuesday. Preparations for the last Ardas have been completed in a field about one and a half kilometers from where the violence took place in Tikunia village. Late in the evening, Rakesh Tikait, president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, has also reached Lakhimpur. Farmers are also reaching from other states. Along with Rakesh Tikait, many senior leaders of BKYU Tikait also accompanied him to attend the last Ardas of the farmers. Will take part in the last Ardas of the farmers to be held here on Tuesday. Farmers and leaders of various agricultural associations from different districts of Uttar Pradesh as well as other states of the country will participate in the Ardas and Bhog program at Tikunia. All will join the last Ardas and pay tribute to the farmers killed in the Kheri incident. BKU leader Rakesh Tikait himself is handling the arrangements for the program.
Farmer leaders clearly say that no political leader will be allowed to share the stage in the last Ardas. The leaders of the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) will be present there. The SKM is an umbrella organization of farmer unions and is leading the protests against three agricultural laws. which are applicable from last year. The farmers’ unions had said that if the government does not accept their demands by October 11 regarding the Lakhimpur Kheri violence, they will take out a Shaheed Kisan Yatra from Lakhimpur Kheri with the ashes of the four farmers killed. Tikait had demanded that Ashish Mishra, the son of the main accused Union Minister for this heinous case, be arrested and the Union Minister be sacked from his post. Along with this, the United Kisan Morcha has called for a rail roko protest across the country from 10 am to 4 pm on 18 October and a mahapanchayat in Lucknow on 26 October.
