Barabanki. A major accident has been reported on the Outer Ring Road of Kisan Path in Barabanki. Around 12 people died and 32 people were seriously injured when the bus collided with the truck. There is an atmosphere of chaos on the spot. Police and local people are engaged in relief and rescue work. The accident happened near Baburi village of Mati police post of Nagar Kotwali. It is being told that the bus collided with the truck to save the cow.
It has been confirmed that 12 have died and 32 have been injured in the accident. The truck and the bus collided head-on. An entire part of the bus was damaged in the accident. The injured were admitted to the nearest hospital. On the spot, Superintendent of Police Yamuna Prasad reached the district hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured. Bus (up 40 t 9786) was going from Delhi to Bahraich. There were 60 to 70 passengers on the bus. District Magistrate Dr Adarsh Singh said that financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh will be given to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured. The injured included people from Gonda, Bahraich and Barabanki. The dead have not yet been identified.
