Manish Gupta murder case: In the murder case of Kanpur businessman Manish Gupta in Gorakhpur, the Uttar Pradesh government has recommended the CBI to investigate. On the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, the Home Department has decided to hand over the case to the CBI.
Along with this, CM Yogi Adityanath has also directed to transfer the case from Gorakhpur to Kanpur and to post Manish Gupta’s wife as OSD in Kanpur Development Authority. After the transfer of the case registered in the murder of Manish Gupta in Gorakhpur to Kanpur, till the time the CBI does not take over the case, the investigation of the case will be started by forming an SIT in Kanpur.
Along with this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also directed to give financial assistance of Rs 40 lakh to the family of Manish Gupta. This amount will also be provided to the victim’s family soon. Manish Gupta’s wife Meenakshi, during her meeting in Kanpur, had demanded a CBI inquiry into the case from CM Yogi Adityanath. CM Yogi Adityanath had also assured him of this.
Five-member SIT headed by Additional Police Commissioner constituted
On the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, Police Commissioner Aseem Arun also formed the SIT to investigate the Manish murder case. Additional Commissioner of Police Anand Kumar Tiwari has been made the chairman of SIT. DCP Dakshina Raveena Tyagi will be the member. Additional DCP West Brijesh Kumar Srivastava will be the Chief Investigating Officer. Apart from this, two police officers of the rank of Inspector will be co-investigators. The names of the co-investigators have not been decided yet.
BJP MLA Maithani handed over a check of 30 lakhs to Manish’s wife
Kanpur BJP MLA Surendra Maithani said that the family of Manish Gupta, who was a victim of police brutality in Gorakhpur on behalf of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, was given a check of Rs. Along with this, the State Government has also given the money for CBI investigation and the money has been sent to the Center and the job has also become a child. He also told that the investigation which was to be conducted in Gorakhpur was transferred to Kanpur and after forming a team, instructions have also been issued for it. Now the investigation will be done by a committee of high officials.
