Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed appointment letters to the sub-district officers selected in the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination-2019 of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission at Lok Bhavan on Tuesday under the government’s mission employment. A total of 49 sub-district magistrates were given appointment letters in Lok Bhavan, out of which 45 were for 2019-20 and four for 2018-19.
49 candidates selected for the post of Deputy District Magistrate were present in this program at Lok Bhavan. Out of which the Chief Minister himself distributed appointment letters to ten. He told the selected candidates that I heartily congratulate, congratulate all the newly-selected officers by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission for being a part of the largest state and largest administrative system of the country. I heartily thank the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission for carrying out the process of fair, transparent selection in a time bound manner.
On this occasion, CM Yogi Adityanath energized the selected officers and also taught them to work with honesty. He said that the regional services are the backbone of the Indian Administrative Service. The newly selected officers must adopt fairness and transparency in the discharge of their responsibilities. So that every citizen of the state can get the benefit of your administrative services. During the tenure of our government, cleanliness and complete transparency are being maintained in the appointments. That is why our government has given 4.50 lakh government jobs to the youth on the basis of merit and ability in the tenure of about four and a half years.
Was tarnished before 2017 jobs process
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on this occasion that everyone has seen how the process of government jobs in Uttar Pradesh was tarnished before 2017. Nepotism, casteism, corruption had become so prevalent in government jobs that the court had to order a CBI inquiry into the appointments. It was not only playing with the talent and life of the youth, but it was also the malicious intent behind it to frustrate them. Under this evil intention, the youth of Uttar Pradesh used to be the victims of the mischief of the previous governments. This is the same state where the label of dishonesty and corruption was already used on government jobs. Many cases went to court and jobs were disrupted.
It is your responsibility to get justice for all citizens
CM Yogi Adityanath said that it will be your responsibility to get justice to all the citizens. More than half of the problems are related to revenue. In this also the common man is a victim of administrative indecision. There should be no chaos and confusion. Everyone should get justice. Justice should be reflected in your methodology. Let us not become a problem for the society, solve the problem of the society. He said that wherever I live, I do public darshan. If every officer does this work, then the problems will end. I am the chief minister, I have a lot of work, but I meet people. A person sitting in an administrative position should keep himself away from protocol. We do not interfere in anyone’s work but review neutrally.
No selection process pending in court
The Chief Minister said that our government has removed this inertia by liberating the commissions and boards related to recruitment, which have become the den of chaos, anarchy, corruption and nepotism. We have made the recruitment process faster with fairness, fairness and transparency and given jobs to the youth as per their merit, talent, aptitude and ability. As a result of this, about 4.5 lakh recruitments took place in the last four and a half years and no selection process is pending in the court.
Be a problem solver
Yogi Adityanath also gave a sense of duty to the selected. He said that some administrative officers move ahead in a time bound manner, while some are in the grip of corruption and are sidelined by this system untimely. Those who do not pay attention to it from the beginning, they become a problem for themselves later on. We should not be a problem for the society but a medium to solve its problems. He said that the officers sitting in the administrative system should avoid adapting themselves to the new protocol and putting themselves in a lonely life like an island, as it sever their relationship with society, country and time. When we become an island, whatever mismanagement is created by the flies roaming around us, it gives rise to all the diseases. We have to avoid this disease from day one. Today whatever wrongdoer the officer does today, after a few months or years, he is bound to get busted. This is followed by demotion from promotion and then dismissal. The government does not interfere in anyone’s work, but keeps a distance and reviews everyone with a neutral attitude.
90 percent problems of the public related to tehsil and police station
The Chief Minister said that nowadays 90 percent of the problems of the people are related to Tehsil and Thana. He asked the selected to make the process of Tehsil transparent and effective with the use of technology so that the public can get the benefit of it. Said that the government attracted investment to promote employment in the private sector. As a result of this, 1.61 crore people have got employment in the private sector today.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that earlier investment did not come due to bad law and order and other reasons, but the atmosphere has changed a lot during the tenure of our government. Earlier investors used to say that we will not invest in UP. We interacted with the investors ourselves. The system has been carried forward through a single window portal. Today people have faith in UP. In the first investor summit more than four lakh crore proposals have been received.
After coming to the post, the disease of glamor and smudge comes.
State’s Finance, Parliamentary Affairs and Medical Education Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna told the newly elected officers on this occasion that after coming to this post, people get sick and gossip. Instead of getting cheap popularity, it will be beneficial for you if you discharge your responsibility fairly. He advocated for increasing the quota of promotion from PCS to IAS. He said that the quota for promotion in IAS should be increased and opportunities should be given as per the merit.
Success is no less than a challenge
Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma advised the newly selected officers to take quick decisions and be reflective towards the challenges of the future. He said that success is no less than a challenge. In UP, we are hardly moving ahead of caste, religion and community.

As soon as his name was called, the atmosphere recently turned a bit pleasant. There was also a smile on the faces of the people present there. After giving appointment letter to Akhilesh Kumar Yadav there, CM Yogi Adityanath also encouraged him.
