Varanasi. PM Modi is coming to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Thursday. The PM, who is coming to Varanasi after a long time due to the Corona crisis, will inaugurate projects worth 744.82 crore, including the Rudraksh Convention Center, a symbol of friendship between Japan and India. Along with this, the foundation stone of 206 projects including Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology Institute will also be laid. In this, there are many schemes for road, drinking water and sewage, village development.
Before coming to Banaras, PM Modi tweeted, ‘I am happy to inaugurate the Rudraksh Convention Center in Varanasi. This state-of-the-art center, built with Japanese assistance, will make Banaras an attractive venue for conferences. This will bring more tourists and businessmen here.
According to the protocol, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will land at Babatpur airport at around 10:30. Then after coming to BHU helipad by helicopter, he will address the public meeting directly at IIT Techno Ground. During this, projects worth Rs 1475.20 crore will be inaugurated and the foundation stone will be laid through remote control. As per the guidelines of Kovid-19, taking care of physical distance, arrangements have been made to seat 5000 people in the meeting.
PM Modi will visit the MCH (Mother Child Health) wing prepared from the budget of the National Health Mission in BHU and observe with the inauguration. Here we will talk to the doctors of the Health Department including BHU regarding the preparation of the third wave of Kovid. Earlier, the Prime Minister has had virtual talks and appreciation with the doctors of Banaras regarding the second wave. A presentation of the preparations made by the medical officers of MCH Wing BHU and DM Kaushal Raj Sharma to deal with the third wave of Kovid will also be given.
After this, the PM will land in the Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya ground by helicopter. By road, at around 1.30 pm, Rudraksh will reach the convention center in Sigra. Along with inaugurating the Rudraksh Convention Center, built at a cost of Rs 186 crore with the help of Japan, he will interact with 500 enlightened people of Banaras. During this, a delegation led by the Japanese Ambassador will also be present. A recorded video message of the Japanese PM will also be narrated. After the inauguration, Prime Minister will go to Babatpur Airport from Sampurnanand Helipad and leave for Delhi from Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Babatpur at around 3 pm. Governor Anandiben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath will accompany the entire event.
Rudraksh built on three acres gives a feeling of Shivling: Rudraksh, a symbol of friendship of Japan and India in Varanasi, has been completed by becoming a convention center. For this, Japan has given financial assistance of Rs 186 crore. It shows a fusion of Japanese and Indian architectural styles. The center has a seating arrangement of 1200 people at a time. There is a system of dividing the hall into two parts according to the number of people. The fully air-conditioned center has a large hall besides a meeting hall with a capacity of 150 people. Apart from this, there is also a VIP room, four green rooms. The entire campus has been made convenient for the convenience of the differently-abled. The foundation of the Rudraksh Convention Center was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during their visit to Varanasi in 2015. This center is built in the shape of Shivling. The exterior of the center has 108 symbolic Rudrakshas, which are made of aluminum. Japanese-style gardens and landscaping have been done in the three-acre convention center complex. There are CCTV cameras with parking facility. Solar power has also been arranged.
