Delhi. Setting aside the order of the Rajasthan High Court, the Supreme Court on Monday morning canceled the bail of a person accused of conspiracy to murder in the honor killing case. Where the husband was shot and killed in front of the pregnant wife. The Supreme Court has asked the accused to surrender.

The matter of brutally killing her husband in front of a pregnant wife has reached the Supreme Court. Actually this case is of a woman from Rajasthan who went against the wishes of her family and married a Malayan boy from Kerala. Let us tell you that this present petition has been filed by a 29-year-old woman who is the wife of the deceased in the honor killing case. In the petition filed, it has been stated by the wife of the deceased boy that her husband Amit was shot in broad daylight in front of his eyes. The woman has accused her brother, parents and other co-conspirators for the murder of which her family members got her husband murdered in 2017.
What did the Supreme Court say
Reversing the decision of the Rajasthan High Court, the Supreme Court has also ordered to expedite the trial of the petition alleging the ruthless murder of her husband by her brother in front of a pregnant sister. The Supreme Court has asked the accused person who is the pregnant woman’s brother to surrender. Earlier on July 9, the Supreme Court, while granting bail to an accused person in this honor killing case, had asked to wait for the outcome of the trial. After this, a bench of CJI NV Ramana, Justice AS Bopanna and Justice Hrishikesh Roy canceled the bail of the accused of deceased Amit Nair and his brother-in-law Mukesh Chaudhary. The apex court had reserved the judgment after hearing the arguments presented by Mamta Nair, widow of deceased Amit Nair and senior advocate Indira Jaising for Mukesh Chaudhary.
