New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation on Monday at 5 pm. Corona cases are decreasing rapidly in the country, due to which states have started giving relaxation in partial curfew. In such a situation, Prime Minister Modi can appeal to the public to take precautions even during unlock. During this, he can also warn the public about the possibility of a third wave.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier addressed the nation on 20 April during the second wave. During that time, Prime Minister Modi appealed to the states to use the lockdown as the last option. However, the states had to resort to partial lockdown due to the ever increasing cases and oxygen crisis, lack of ICU beds etc. Since the last days of May, the cases of corona in the country have been seen to be controlled. Now there is no fight over ICU beds in hospitals as before.
Earlier, where three to four lakh cases used to come daily in the country, now about one lakh cases are coming down daily. A total of 1,00,636 new cases of corona were registered on Monday. At present, 2,89,09,975 people have been infected in the country.
