Lucknow. Continuing efforts towards keeping Uttar Pradesh safe from the corona pandemic are yielding good results. Yogi government’s policy of trace, test and treat has proved to be effective. As a result of this, the Kovid test positivity rate in the state was only 0.4 percent in 24 hours. In view of the decreasing infection rate of Corona, Abbareilly and Bulandshahr have also been exempted from partial corona curfew. In these districts also, the active cases of Kovid decreased to less than 600. Now the total number of districts getting relief has gone up to 67. After the end of the two-day statewide weekly bandh, from Monday, both these districts will also be exempted from the corona curfew from 7 am to 7 pm, five days a week. All other Kovid protocols including weekly and night closure will be applicable in these districts.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave many necessary guidelines in a meeting with Team-9 constituted for Kovid-19 management on Saturday. He said that the total number of active cases has come down to less than 600 in 67 districts of the state. If we look at the recovery situation, by Monday, four-five more districts are also likely to fall in the category of less than 600 active cases. He said that in Uttar Pradesh, which has the highest number of Kovid tests in the country, there has been a decline of 94 percent after 36 days today as against the peak condition of three lakh 10 thousand 783 patients on April 30. At present there are 19,438 corona cases active. Our recovery rate has gone up to 97.6 percent.
1,092 new infected patients found in 24 hours: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that so far five crore 10 lakh 32 thousand 967 Kovid tests have been done in Uttar Pradesh. In the last 24 hours, the Kovid test positivity rate in the state was only 0.4 percent. 1,092 new patients have been found in the last 24 hours. In the same period, 4,346 people have recovered and been discharged. In this way, till now a total of 16 lakh 56 thousand 763 people of the state have become healthy after being freed from corona.
Police should follow the rules of Corona curfew: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the two-day weekly bandh is effective on Saturday and Sunday. This will be uniformly applicable in all 75 districts. The rules related to corona curfew should be strictly followed. The police and local administration should become active from 6 pm to make the night captive effective. Use the public address system. There should not be any situation of crowd anywhere. In many districts, information has been received like people not applying masks, unnecessary crowding in markets. This situation is neither good for anyone. The cooperation of every single citizen is necessary to win the fight against corona pandemic.
Separate booth for vaccination of women: CM Yogi Adityanath said that Kovid vaccination is a security cover to prevent infection. The Uttar Pradesh government, in collaboration with the central government, is determined to provide vaccine-cover to all citizens at the earliest. So far one crore 98 lakh 38 thousand 187 doses have been administered in the state. In the last 24 hours, four lakh one thousand 582 people got the vaccine-cover. Separate booths will also be started from Monday for convenient vaccination of women. In the month of June, our target is to vaccinate one crore people, while in July we plan to expand it by two to three times. For this, trainee students of nursing colleges should be trained for vaccination. Training should start from next week.
Management for the treatment of black fungus patients: CM Yogi Adityanath said that OPD / IPD services, surgery etc. have been started in hospitals, but only those people should come to the hospital, whose condition is serious. At least get out of the house. Use teleconsultation as much as possible. More doctors should be involved in this. People should be made aware about the use of this service. He informed that all arrangements have been made for the treatment of black fungus patients. The supply of Amphoteresin-B injection, which is considered useful in its treatment, is being made smooth. Experts have also given the option of two more medicines, their availability should be ensured as soon as possible. He directed that the establishment of PICU and NICU in all medical colleges should be completed expeditiously. Similarly, Mini Pikus are being set up at District Hospital and CHC level also.
No destitute child should not be deprived of ‘Bal Seva Yojana’: CM Yogi Adityanath said that the government for the upbringing, education and initiation of children whose parents have died due to corona infection has launched ‘Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Bal Seva Yojana’. Four thousand rupees per month for these children, arrangements have been made to keep them in child protection homes. No eligible child should be deprived of this scheme, work should be done with sensitivity in this regard. He said that arrangements should be made for the education of such adolescents above the age of 18 years, whose parents both have died untimely due to corona. Tablets and laptops should also be given to these children under the Abhyudaya scheme.
