Dehradun: Even in the Kovid period, some people are not getting rid of their antics. Police on Thursday revealed a gang that used to steal the mobiles of hospital-admitted Kovid-positive patients. Three such youths have been arrested. Sunil Gupta had given a complaint at the post that Jhajhara said that his wife Reema Gupta is Kovid positive and the treatment is going on from Subharti Hospital Jhajhra.
Today, when the wife called, her phone switch was coming off. After which, when contacted by the wife, she told that her phone has been stolen from the hospital. On the basis of Tahrir, police station Premnagar was immediately prosecuted. On this, the Police Station Prem Nagar formed teams and while taking action against those who steal the mobile phones of Kovid patients, the employees and officers appointed in Subharti Hospital were interrogated following the order instructions given in the Kovid Guidelines. On the basis of which Afzal son Ikhlaq resident Chharba Osman Pur Police Station Sahaspur Dehradun, Shubham son Bijendra resident Dhaki police station Sahaspur Dehradun, Ravi Kumar son Ramesh Chandra resident Sahaspur Dehradun were arrested with stolen mobile near Subharti Hospital Chakrata road.
All three work in the hospital. On inquiry, he told that when the patient relaxes and seeing the opportunity, he immediately hides his phone and keeps the phone switched off immediately. Four stolen mobiles were recovered from his possession. Police will produce all three before the court.
