Lucknow: The state government has decided to issue e-passes to ensure supply of essential goods and services during lockdown. For the entire period of e-pass lockdown issued to institutions, the validity of district e-pass issued to common people will be one day and endogenous two days. For states outside the state, e-passes will be issued by the DM of the district concerned to the applicant’s departure district. Additional Chief Secretary Revenue Renuka Kumar has issued guidelines in this regard.
Additional Chief Secretary has said that public can also apply for e-pass to get medical services. If the supply of essential goods and services is not being made in the public, then they can complain to the Chief Minister Helpline 1076. Applicants can apply online for e-pass through the link available at rahat.up.nic.in rahat.up.nic.in/epass. The District Magistrate has been empowered to issue passes within the boundary of the district. Additional District Magistrate nominated by the District Magistrate will be authorized for inter-district e-pass within the state limits.
