Director General of Police (DGP) Ashok Kumar has directed all senior superintendents of police, superintendents of police and commandants of the Corps to make arrangements for treatment of corona infection in police hospitals. Meeting with the police officers through video conference, the DGP said that arrangements should be made in the police hospitals set up in the districts for the treatment of Kovid. To supply oxygen to the infected policemen, keep large district 10 cylinders and small district five cylinders with you.
DGP instructed all the district in-charge to keep two to four policemen on duty in every government hospital due to Kovid. He also said that every policeman should be provided with a face mask and face shield. Those policemen who have not received the second dose of anti-corona vaccine should get it done as soon as possible. Told that in districts where there is no smart control room, the target of making smart control room will be met this year. New computers will be provided in all police stations of the state. Now there will also be a computer at the reception of the police station. At the same time, a bus is being arranged for the PAC jawans so that they do not have to travel in trucks during the movement.
In the meeting, the DGP told that the personnel selected in the recruitment of Sub Inspector and Chief Reserve Ranker, who could not take the Physical Efficiency Test due to any reasons, will now be able to take this exam on 6 May. He informed that by the end of this year, the police line of Pauri, Almora, Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh and IRB II would be upgraded. Along with this, renovation and improvement of buildings in the state’s dilapidated police stations and outposts will also be done.
In the meeting, the DGP said that to speed up the investigation, there is a plan to give tablets to the investigation officers, so that they can start their case diary work from the spot itself. He informed that the process of submitting the documents related to the case online is going on in the courts. Due to this, the investigating officer currently writes his case diary through CCTNS, which takes a lot of time.
