New Delhi / Ghaziabad. Under the leadership of Rakesh Tikait, the National Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, the sit-in protest against the three central agricultural laws on the UP border has faded. The presence of Bharatiya Kisan Union president Naresh Tikait and spokesperson Rakesh Tikait Samate, all the prominent farmer leaders, are also unable to add life to the farmers movement. It has been viewed many times. In the mahapanchayat of farmers last time, Bhaiyu president Naresh Tikait was also disappointed to see the dwindling crowd of farmers.
At the same time, another big and important reason has been revealed due to reduced farmer’s crowd. It is being told that most of the farmer agitators are busy harvesting their wheat crop, so they have distanced themselves from the movement. It is also being said that the heat is going to cause problems due to heatstroke. Many farmers lost their lives in winter, now farmers are not even in the mood to return on all four borders (Tikri, Shahjahanpur, Singhu and Ghazipur border).
Significantly, since 28 November, the agrarian law protesters who have been sitting on dharna at other places including UP Gate on Saturday have also tried to hinder the speeding vehicles on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. That too when the golden earrings of wheat in the fields are ready to fill the bag of farmers with happiness. His action strengthened those farmers who were not accepting the people involved in the anti-agrarian movement after 26 January. This is the reason that the number of cane cutters is increasing due to the anti-agricultural law movement in the fields and there is a silence on the movement site.
They sat on the dharna, we sweated in the fields
Madhur Chaudhary, who is present in the wheat field in Raispur, tells that on one side where there is a sit-in at the UP Gate of Ghaziabad since November, on the other hand, during this time, the farmers sweated the fields one night and now to get the fruit of it. The time has come. If wheat is harvested, money will come to the house With this, we would be able to do the necessary work, if he too had gone into the movement, there would have been no wheat in the field today and would have faced problems due to financial constraints throughout the year. Not only farmers, but also laborers who come to harvest wheat and make bread for their families.
Farmer Madhur Chaudhary also says that I live in Raispur, till date I have not gone to join the anti-agriculture law movement. Farmers are at a disadvantage due to obstruction in the way of common people.
According to Deepak (laborer). There are four members in the peasant family. I have come to harvest wheat. This will provide for the livelihood and not by joining the agitation by the opponents of the agricultural law, so never went there even at the behest of anyone.
Chokhelal (laborer) says that there are four members in my family, the brother has died. I also take care of his family. Harvesting wheat will generate income and household expenses.
Roli Singh (District Food Marketing Officer, Ghaziabad) says that procurement of wheat has started. So far, 55 farmers have sold 2,560 quintals of wheat. This time the yield of wheat has also improved. The production of 1.30 lakh quintal is estimated to be in the district.
Here, let us tell you that the protest against the three agricultural laws continued on Sunday from November 28 at the UP Gate. Troubled by the dwindling number of protesters, the leaders met. On Tuesday, Baisakhi and on Wednesday, Bahujan Kisan Ekta Diwas was announced to celebrate the crowd.
United Kisan Morcha Ghazipur spokesperson Jagtar Singh Bajwa said that the martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh will be remembered here on Tuesday. The festival of Baisakhi will be celebrated. On April 14, Constitution Save will be celebrated as Kisan Bahujan Unity Day. Farmers from Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand have been invited to join it.
