Gorakhpur Night curfew can be declared anytime in view of increasing cases of corona in Gorakhpur district. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday reviewed the preparedness related to the rescue from Corona with Gorakhpur division health officials at Baba Raghav Das Medical College. In the meeting, the DM of Gorakhpur instructed Vijayendra Pandian to take a decision to impose night curfew as soon as possible due to the increasing corona infection.
In a review meeting held in the auditorium of the Medical College’s administrative department, the Chief Minister inquired about the preparedness of the rescue from Corona. All CMOs and Additional Director Health and Family Welfare of Gorakhpur division informed the Chief Minister about the preparations in their districts. The Chief Minister directed that at least 25 people who came in contact with the corona infected should be investigated in every condition and they should be monitored even if they are not found infected. The scope of investigation should be extended continuously. Ambulances should be sent to check more people in areas where more cases of corona are found. The Chief Minister said that the corona has to be controlled.
Beds will be increased in BRD
The Chief Minister reviewed the treatment of Corona patients at Baba Raghav Das Medical College. He inquired about the number of beds from Principal Dr. Ganesh Kumar. The principal said that 150 beds are currently operational in Kovid Hospital. The Chief Minister directed to increase 50 more beds. Also said that the proposal of manpower needs to be made and sent to the government, it will be approved immediately.
6000 investigations are taking place daily in the district
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sudhakar Pandey informed that corona examination of 6000 people is being done daily in the district. The Chief Minister has given instructions to increase its scope further. Corona investigation is being conducted at 56 centers. Along with sending five ambulances, investigation is also being done.
