Prayagraj The Allahabad High Court has appealed to the people of Uttar Pradesh to realize their responsibility towards the Kovid-19 guidelines. The court has said that the government has taken steps to stop the second wave of Corona, but the government guidelines are not being followed properly. The High Court has directed all the District Magistrates to strictly follow the instructions. The court has asked the government to consider the night curfew along with controlling the crowd in the late evening celebrations. The court also said that instead of age above 45 years, the government should consider vaccination of all the people at their homes.
The order was passed by a division bench of Chief Justice Govind Mathur and Justice Siddharth Verma while hearing a PIL filed in the Corona Transition case. The next hearing will be on April 8 through video conferencing. The court has directed the authorities of the administration and police to make the wearing of masks 100% compulsory. DGP has been expected to prepare an action plan in this regard and ensure its implementation.
The court has said that the crowd should not be allowed to gather anywhere and it should be dispersed immediately. Particularly for the panchayat elections, nomination and campaigning should not be crowded. Corona guide lines should be followed at the time of promotion. The court also directed that all the citizens studying in high school and intermediate should be screened, instead of those who have passed the age of 45, instructing them to consider vaccinating all citizens and consider getting vaccinated from door to door.
The Allahabad High Court has asked the state government to consider keeping the night curfew along with controlling the crowd at late evening celebrations. Appropriate initiatives have been directed to maintain the availability of the mask, sanitizer and its disposal after use. The petition filed for corona infection will now be heard on April 8 through video conferencing.
