Lucknow. The countdown to the return of Uttar Pradesh to Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari, who has been held for 15 months in Roop Nagar Jail in Ropar district of Punjab, has started. Bahujan Samaj Party MLA from Mhow, Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari, has 52 cases registered in 24 police stations of Uttar Pradesh.
Mukhtar Ansari was shifted from Banda Jail to Rupnagar Jail in Ropar District of Punjab on 21 January 2020. During this time, an attempt was made to bring Mukhtar back to the case of Uttar Pradesh about 54 times, but each time the date kept getting. Now Mukhtar Ansari is returning home on the directions of the Supreme Court. About a hundred member team of Uttar Pradesh Police is going from Banda to Punjab to bring Bahubali which will reach Ropar district by Tuesday morning. The team has a long way to go. A heavy team with Mukhtar will reach Banda jail by 8 April. In bringing Bahubali to Banda by road, the police team will have to travel about 1800 km.
BSP MLA Mukhtar is to be shifted to jail by April 8. UP Police has made two route plans regarding Mukhtar Ansari. The first plan involves taking Mukhtar Ansari from Banda Police Rupnagar Jail from Ropar via Sonipat, Panipat and Eastern Peripheral Expressway via Yamuna Expressway to Taj Express-Way (Agra) after reaching Auraiya via Auraiya and directly from Jalaun via Bela Road There is a plan to reach Banda from Chilla Road via Hamirpur through Jolhupur turn. It is a distance of about 880 kilometers, which will take about 14 hours to cover.
The second plan is that from Ropar Nagar Jail as National Highway 205A from Rup Nagar Jail via Kurali Bypass to National Highway 44 and then Eastern Peripheral Experts Way and Taj Expressway via Jalaun Orai via MDR to Jhansi Mirjapur Highway Banda can be reached directly from the National Highway 35 from Mahoba Rath Road. This journey from Ropar will take about 17 hours. Banda distance from Ropar is about 990 km by this route. One of the two route plans will be final on Tuesday evening. Along with this, the plan is to come to UP via Saharanpur and from there to Banda. The captains of all the districts of the route have been asked to remain alert. One back up team will also run in seven, with teams bringing Mukhtar Ansari by road.
Big convoy of police team: Mukhtar Ansari from Ropar is to be shifted to Banda jail by 8 April. Today, a convoy of vehicles left Ropar from the Banda police line premises. It consisted of a small Vajra vehicle, an ambulance, a Bolero of CO and a blue seven-jeep Jeep from different directions. The convoy comprises about one hundred people including one CO, two inspectors, six inspectors, 20 head constables and 20 constables. The Banda Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) is also with the team. This entire team is equipped with state-of-the-art materials. An ambulance is also accompanying. Along with this, the health team also has physicians, pharmacists, paramedical staff and essential medicines.
