Lucknow. Atul Rai, MP from Bahujan Samaj Party of Uttar Pradesh’s Ghosi Lok Sabha, has told his own party MLA Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari the danger of his life. Mukhtar Ansari, jailed in Ropar district of Punjab, is to be shifted to a jail in Uttar Pradesh on the instructions of the Supreme Court, in such a situation, Atul Rai, who is in Naini jail of Prayagraj, threatened his life with MLA Mukhtar Ansari from Mohammadabad in Mau After stating that Mukhtar has been sent a letter to the state DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi, pleading not to shift to Naini jail.
Bahujan Samaj Party MP Atul Rai, who is lodged in Naini jail of Prayagraj on the charge of misdemeanor, has threatened life from his own party MLA Mukhtar Ansari. Not only this, Atul Rai has also sent a letter to the Director General of Police Hitesh Chandra Awasthi, urging Mukhtar Ansari not to shift to Naini Central Jail. Atul Rai is a Bahujan Samaj Party MP from Ghosi parliamentary constituency in Mau district. He is in jail during the Lok Sabha elections in connection with rape. In a letter sent to Atul Rai DGP, it is said that MLA Mukhtar Ansari has implicated him in a false case of rape. Along with this, he has also mentioned many cases ranging from Varanasi, Sonbhadra to Mau in his letter. Now Atul Rai is afraid that Mukhtar Ansari Naini may also murder him when he comes to jail. He has also written letters to Mukhtar Ansari demanding additional shift to Naini Jail to the state’s Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi and DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi. Atul Rai has written in the letter that shifting Mukhtar Ansari to Naini jail would threaten his life.
Recently, the Supreme Court has instructed Bahubali MLA Mukhtar Ansari, who is lodged in Ropar Jail in Punjab, to shift to Uttar Pradesh jail within two weeks. Mukhtar Ansari was shifted from Banda Jail to Ropar Jail in Punjab in January last year. A case has been registered against Mukhtar Ansari in Ropar for threatening the businessman over the phone. The same warrant was brought from Banda to Punjab.
