Roorkee A speeding car collided with the truck after hitting a car divider near Mandavali village on the Delhi-Roorkee National Highway. Two died on the spot in the accident. Both were residents of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, posted in UPPCL as JEs. Mangalore Kotwali police reached the spot as soon as the information was received and took both the bodies out of the car and sent them for postmortem.
Ashok Kumar and Manish Kumar, residents of Uttar Pradesh’s K Ghaziabad, were posted as JEs in UPC UPPCL. Late in the evening, both of them were going to take bath in Haridwar Kumbh from their private car, as soon as their car reached near Mandavali village near Mangalore, the car collided with the divider and then collided with the truck. In the accident, the children of the car flew away. A crowd gathered on the spot.
Mangalore Kotwali police reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported and the two bodies were somehow ejected from the car and sent for postmortem. SP Dehat Praminder Singh Doval said that the police is waiting for the post-mortem report to come. Police have also informed the families of the deceased. The relatives of the dead have also reached Roorkee.
