In Lucknow, CM Yogi Adityanath garlanded the statue of Rani Avantibai Lodhi at Hazratganj and bowed to her. On this occasion, Unnao MP Sakshi Maharaj was also present along with former Union Minister and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Uma Bharti.
CM Yogi Adityanath said on this occasion that India is a land of heroes. Here great heroes also played an important role in the independence of the country. He said that his sacrifice gave us freedom. We salute these great sacrifices. The Uttar Pradesh government has launched a special program Mission Shakti as a special program for the protection of maternal power, as well as their safety, respect and self-reliance. Under this mission power, we have reserved 20 percent posts in Uttar Pradesh Police for women. So that the dignity of the woman is protected. Along with this, the sacrifice of Viraganas should also be discussed. He said that today is the sacrificial day of Virangana queen Avanti Bai Lodhi. On this occasion, we are also opening three women PAC battalions in the state. His name is named after great heroes. These three heroes sacrificed themselves for the independence of the country. Our government has established three women PAC battalions in the name of Jhalkari Bai, Rani Avantibai Lodhi and Veerangana Udadevi. It is also a means to honor their sacrifice.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that after seeing the contribution of three women warriors in the freedom movement, we have named three women battalions of PAC in Uttar Pradesh after them. Formalities have been completed regarding the women’s PAC battalion to be established in the name of Rani Avantibai Lodhi, Udha Devi and Jhalkari Bai. He said that the sacrifice day of Rani Avanti Bai is on 20 March. We have established Women’s Safety Desk at 1535 police stations in the state. Along with this, immediately after filing any type of cyber crime complaint against women, there is a speedy hearing on it. The Inspector General of Police has been given responsibility for hearing cyber crime against women in every division. It is our endeavor to establish at least five women police reporting posts in every district.
