A case of massive fire has been reported in the luggage bogie of the Lucknow-Shatabdi Express. The train was stopped at Ghaziabad station for an hour. The fire was controlled in about an hour and a half.
Chief Fire Officer Sunil Kumar Singh said that at seven in the morning, information was received that the Shatabdi Express was on fire. Immediately 6 trains were sent on the spot. The fire was in the last bogie generator and luggage vehicle of the train.
Immediately the fire was started by separating the bogie from the other part of the train. Both doors were not left open by the fire. The fire has been controlled by breaking them. Thankfully, there has been no loss of life in this fire incident.
